Celebrating innovation in modern multi-channel retailing

Retail Design Expo (RDE) is looking for industry innovations in visual merchandising, retail design, branding, POS and marketing as it makes its last call for exhibitors to enter the Innovation and Trail awards.

The awards, which will celebrate innovative products and services that are shaping the way the retail industry evolves, are taking place at London’s Olympia on 2 and 3 May 2018. The deadline for entries is 23 February 2018.

The Innovation Trail and Awards rewards products, services and solutions that will drive future changes to the industry and are set to re-shape the retail and brand landscape. The awards are open to all exhibitors and will be judged by a panel of industry experts, including Nick Widdowson, merchandising and creative controller at Unilever UK; Alan Taylor, head of retail design at B&Q; Sigrid Brewka-Steeves, director of retail concepts at Adidas and Peter Kramers, Clarks portfolio director, who will select those entrants they believe are setting the industry alight.

Shortlisted exhibitors will be featured in the dedicated innovation area, as well as receive a special certificate prominently displayed on their stand. The trail leads attendees to the Innovation Winners Wall, where the winner will be announced on the first day of the show.

RDE event manager Sarah Adams commented: “RDE’s Innovation and Trail Awards is a unique opportunity for exhibitors to expose their most innovative solutions, products and services to a judging panel of industry experts who will award those exhibitors they believe will shape the future of the retail industry. The awards allow exhibitors to position their most innovative products at the forefront of their target audiences' minds, establishing, or consolidating, their place within the retail industry.”

Entries for Innovation and Trail awards can be submitted online until 23 February.
