Shiseido to purchase Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare brand
The beauty brand will add to Shiseido’s robust prestige beauty portfolio.
Shiseido Company has entered into a definitive agreement for the acquisition of DDG Skincare Holdings LLC, the owner of the prestigious beauty brand Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare, and its expansive portfolio.
Under the purchase, Shiseido aims to bolster its primary prestige skincare business, which is comprised of the eponymous cosmetics brand and the Japanese skincare label Clé de Peau Beauté.
The acquisition marks a chapter on Shiseido’s synergy mission for “Beauty Innovations for a Better World” to support its strategic framework and global portfolio of prestige brands.

Shiseido’s purchase of Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare will support the brand’s growth trajectory and expansion to other territories.
