Adidas co-launches two retail concepts in Indonesia
One of the stores was designed to appear like a sports stadium
German sportswear giant Adidas is launching its latest retail concept in Indonesia, together with its partner PT Kanmo Retailindo, through the opening of two stores at the new Pondok Indah Mall (PIM) 3 in Jakarta, according to a press release.
Adidas is introducing its Stadium Evolution store and The Collection store, which both aim to provide an "on-and-off the field" retail experience for all sports enthusiasts, from elite professional athletes to fashion-conscious streetwear fans with artistic mindsets.
The 350-sqm Stadium Evolution store was designed to appear similar to a sports stadium. The Supercourt format is adapted to reflect the change from analog to a world of digitalization. The aesthetics are complimented by digital displays along the footwear section.
The Stadium Evolution store holds the complete lineup of adidas products, including running, sportswear, training, football, and basketball.
Meanwhile, The Collection was made for sneakerheads, street style enthusiasts, and younger generations. The store built on a 340 sqm area showcases adidas' latest collections on the adidas archive-inspired Archive Rack, as well as premium sportswear, lifestyle segment and sports-inspired streetwear lines.
Decorated with a designer rug by prominent Indonesian artists Tutu and Abenk Alter, The Collection store will act as a hub for Adidas Originals line products.
Further to opening its doors, adidas is also looking forward to establishing more collaborations with hyperlocal artists for future projects.
