UNIQLO Singapore switches fully to EVs for last-mile deliveries
Its same-day Click and Collect Service will be available at 27 stores starting 1 July.
UNIQLO Singapore has fully transitioned to electric vehicles for its Click & Collect orders across Singapore.
“Making the switch from diesel-run vehicles to electric vehicles for our Click & Collect deliveries has brought us closer to achieving our goal of reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 90% by FY2030 (compared with FY2019),” Hwee Lee, Senior Director, Sustainability UNIQLO Singapore, said.
“Besides reducing our environmental footprint end-to-end in the life cycle of apparels we make, there will also be improved logistics efficiency, ensuring that we achieve more with lesser energy and emissions. This is also in alignment with our company’s transition to a business model that promotes both sustainability and business growth.”

The Click & Collect service allows customers to shop online and have their orders sent at their preferred UNIQLO store for self-pickup. This is available at 27 UNIQLO stores, starting 1 July 2022.
This is in line with its goal to reduce carbon footprint in its supply chain. UNIQLO is also the first retail partner of Sembcorp to purchase Renewable Energy Certificates.
It has since achieved 50% of its transition to using renewable energy in 2021.
