Muji to launch first store in Macau

The new store is set to be the largest in the Hong Kong and Macau region.

Japanese retail company Muji will open its first store in Macau, offering day-to-day living products such as apparel, household goods, food, and “on-the-go essentials” to customers in the region, the company said in a press release.

With a total floor area of 21,000 sqft, the new store will be the largest retail store in Hong Kong and Macau region, offering a wide assortment of merchandise to Macao residents and inbound travellers, Muji said.

Muji said they create and improve products through three core principles—material selection, process streamlining, and packaging simplification, bringing over 7,000 simple-designed, functional daily goods at lower prices.
