Lemaire enters South Korean luxury market

It will be the first flagship store outside of France.

Paris-based fashion brand Lemaire has expanded into the luxury market of South Korea with a curated flagship store in Seoul.

Located in the Hannam district, the 230-square-metre boutique is the first flagship store opened outside of Paris.

The design of the store, which is built in a two-story house built in the 1970s, originated from Korean architect Lim Taehee of LTH Studio, who combined traditional and modern Korean design to represent Lemaire’s brand of rich and complex style for everyday wear. The glamorous design extends to the interiors and the furniture by Italian designer Enzo Mari.

“We are pleased to introduce a new space that embodies LEMAIRE's values and epitomizes our profound esteem for Korean culture. This flagship has a domestic dimension that blurs the boundaries between home and boutique, in harmony with our collections, which aim to enrich everyday life,” Christophe Lemaire and Sarah-Linh Tran, co-founders of Lemaire, shared.
