Gap launches in Australia with Fashionata partnership
The brand will be available in select Myer stores.
Gap Inc. is entering the Australian market through a partnership with fashion group Fashionata.
The brand will be available in select Myer stores and online starting 9 April 2026.
Under the agreement, Fashionata will manage the Gap brand’s distribution and market development across Australia, overseeing both physical stores and online channels to ensure a seamless omnichannel shopping experience tailored to local consumers.
A dedicated Australian e-commerce site is scheduled to launch later this year.
“Gap is a globally recognised brand with a rich heritage, and we’re excited to introduce it to Australian consumers in a way that feels relevant to how they live today,” said Melissa Trovato, chief operating officer at Fashionata.
“Australia is an important market for Gap as we continue to expand our international franchise business,” said Facundo Ginobili, senior vice president of international commerce at Gap Inc.
The launch will feature Gap’s signature denim, modern essentials, and everyday styles, both in-store and online.
