Apple opens newly expanded Abu Dhabi store

The store double its original size back when it launched in 2015.

The Apple Yas Mall in Abu Dhabi has opened its doors to customers wit Apple’s latest products and services.

The newly expanded Apple store is nearly double the size of the original location that opened in 2015.

“With the opening of the newly expanded Apple Yas Mall, our team is ready to welcome even more of Abu Dhabi’s incredibly diverse and innovative community to this beautiful new space,” Deirdre O’Brien, Apple’s senior vice president of Retail + People, said.

“We look forward to continuing to bring the best of Apple to the UAE, and building on our history in the region.”

The new store features a curved glass exterior and integrates over 150 feet of glass through out the storefront.

Customers could also find a freestanding video wall and Forum at the center of the store, where it will bring its Today at Apple sessions for free.

The sessions, led by Apple Creative Pros, seeks to provide creative inspiration as well as teach practical skills.

The Apple Yas Mall also includes 100 team members who collectively speak 33 languages and represent 32 nationalities.

Apple has been operating in the region for over 10 years. It has more than 600 team members across the United Arab Emirates.
