Philippines’ Robinsons roll out Woolworth’s products

Over 150 private label items are being sold, including crackers and beverages.

Woolworths private label products are now available in the Philippines, through its partnership with Robinsons Supermarket, as well as its other retail banners The Marketplace and Shopwise, IGD reported.

More than 150 Woolworths grocery items are now being sold in 35 stores, with plans to expand its availability in Robinsons’ store network within the year. Customers can also purchase these exclusive goods through GoRobinsons.ph, Robinsons’ ecommerce platform.

Amongst the more popular items sold at these stores include Woolworths’ Australian honey, crackers, beverage, cereals, pancakes, salad dressings, sauces and pasta.

Woolworths and Robinsons have priced these private label products around 10-15% cheaper than other imported goods sold in the Philippines, said  Woolworths International Sales Head, Brian Newton.

To celebrate the launch, the store rolled out exclusive promotions where customers can get a free Woolworths Foldable Shopping Basket with any minimum spend of $63 (PHP3,000), including $10 (PHP500) worth of Woolworths products.
