Starbucks opens first reserve-only store in Seoul, South Korea
Jangchung Lounge R also features a 'Mixology Bar.’
Starbucks has launched Jangchung Lounge R, its first reserve-only store in Seoul, South Korea.
The group said this is to celebrate the 10th anniversary of its Reserve coffee in the country.
Located in Jung-gu, Seoul, the store features a three-floor design with 180 seats and a terrace. Housed in a 1960s building, the store combines nostalgic elements with modern design. Preserved original features, including the doorbell and staircases, enhance the nostalgic ambiance.
The store includes an AR mural in the garage that illustrates the coffee-making process. It also features seven themed spaces on the first and second floors, including a lounge, music room, and an outdoor garden with 40 seats.
Jangchung Lounge R introduces a 'Mixology Bar,' offering 11 cocktail beverages like Espresso Martini and Bourbon Whiskey Cream Cold Brew. Non-alcoholic options are also available.
The menu includes 12 new items, such as desserts and sandwiches, and the store will showcase new merchandise and collaboration products with Riedel.
Additionally, the store will offer the 'Espresso Flight,' a trio of Starbucks Reserve espresso drinks paired with chocolate powder, French vanilla cream, and Jeju Palsak sherbet, exclusive to Reserve locations.
