Central Retail unifies food businesses under new CEO

Stephane Coum has been appointed as the CEO.

Central Retail Corporation Public Company Limited (CRC) has announced a major restructuring of its food business operations, merging its three flagship units under a single entity, Central Retail Food Group.

The integration brings together Central Food Retail Co., Ltd., which operates retail brands including TOPS, TOPS FOOD HALL, TOPS DAILY, TOPS ONLINE, TOPS CARE, and MatsuKiyo; Central Food Wholesale Co., Ltd., operator of GO WHOLESALE; and Central Retail Vietnam, which runs GO! Mall, GO! Hypermarket, mini go!, Tops Market, and Lan Chi Mart.

Effective 1 March 2026, Stephane Coum has been appointed chief executive officer of the newly unified food group, overseeing the entire portfolio of CRC’s food businesses.

Under the new structure, Thanawat Jirajariyavej assumes the role of managing director of Central Food Retail (CFR), responsible for the operations and management of TOPS, TOPS FOOD HALL, TOPS DAILY, TOPS ONLINE, and TOPS CARE. MatsuKiyo, however, will report directly to the Central Retail Food Group under Coum’s leadership.

CRC said the strategic move aims to streamline operations, strengthen brand synergy, and accelerate growth across its retail and wholesale food businesses in Thailand and Vietnam.
