MINISO Land opens first flagship store in Australia

MINISO Land Sydney offers 7,000 SKUs with 70% of products being IP collaborations.

MINISO Land Sydney recently opened as the first MINISO Land store in Australia.

Located at Westfield Chatswood, Northern Sydney, the store spans 800 square metres and features intellectual property (IP)-themed products that feature characters from Disney’s Zootopia 2 and Sanrio.

MINISO Land Sydney offers 7,000 stock keeping units (SKUs) with 70% of the products being IP collaborations. These products include vinyl plush toys, blind boxes, accessories, and cushions.

The outlet features a warm, natural wood design inside, whilst window displays and LED screens are found outside, the retailer said.

The MINISO Land stores combine rich IP content and an immersive space design, it added. The store concept has been established in Beijing, China and Bangkok, Thailand.

In Australia, MINISO is present in New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, Queensland, and Western Australia.

Westfield Chatswood is regarded as a shopping centre in the country, featuring transport links that make the store accessible to customers, the retailer said.
