These are the most used mobile shopping apps

This is based on the global active users between January and December 2022.

Amazon emerged as the leading mobile shopping app globally, based on usage, followed by Shopee, a report found. 

Also amongst the 10 most used apps are Flipkart, AliExpress, Lazada, Mercadolibre, Shein, Meesho, eBay, and Myntra.

In its Digital 2023, We Are Social and Meltwater ranked mobile apps in the shopping category based on global active users between January and December 2022. 

The report also found consumers spent the most in products under the Fashion category with an estimated US$871.2b annual, which is down by 2.4% year-on-year. 

This is followed by electronic products (US$765.7b), toys, hobby, and DIY (US$601.7b), and furniture ($387.7b).
