Shopback Pay was soft-launched in January.

Shopping and rewards platform, ShopBack, now entered the payments industry with the  of its latest cashless feature ShopBack Pay in Singapore.

In a statement, ShopBack said all two million users will have access to ShopBack Pay which has on-boarded more than 3,000 merchants since its pilot launch on 17 January.

ShopBack said the new feature, which aims “to bring convenient and rewarding payments to shoppers,” allows consumers to link their preferred payment methods available on the ShopBack app such as Mastercard, Visa, and GrabPay, and their in-store payments will be debited directly real-time.

Users may also avail rewards from their preferred payment methods such as credit card benefits and GrabRewards points.

The redeemed cashback can be used at any ShopBack Pay merchants and can be used to directly purchase vouchers through the ShopBack app.

It added that users can avail 12% to 20% cashback at popular merchants and on average 5% from  the rest of ShopBack Pay merchants.
