James Wilson
James Wilson is a Partner in the Technology Consulting practice at KPMG in Singapore, where he also serves as the Head of the Consumer & Retail sector. With over 20 years of experience, James has led numerous large-scale, technology-enabled business transformation engagements across a diverse range of industries. He specialises in transforming technology service delivery and operating models through strategic technology implementation, process redesign, and third-party sourcing.
As one of the leaders within the Technology Consulting team, James brings deep expertise in bridging the gap between business needs and technology delivery. He is known for his ability to navigate complex, high-stakes environments and build trusted relationships with stakeholders to drive impactful outcomes.
Throughout his career, James has delivered major transformation programmes for leading global clients. These include designing a comprehensive technology strategy for a FTSE 100 energy company to enhance customer centricity, leading a $500M SAP S/4HANA programme for a global defence and engineering firm, and transforming a global retail organisation’s outsourced technology delivery into a unified in-sourced model. He has also managed politically sensitive cost optimisation programmes, such as a zero-based budgeting initiative that achieved 30% cost savings on a £140M IT spend, and led critical risk remediation through platforms like CyberArk for pharmaceutical clients under tight regulatory timelines.
James’s areas of expertise span technology sourcing and cost management, vendor and supplier management, integration, service integration and management, technology operating model design, and enterprise-wide programme management. He has worked across sectors including public services, transport, legal, and life sciences, supporting clients both in Singapore and globally in realising the benefits of modern technology strategies.
Joel Neoh
Joel Neoh is one of Asia’s most recognized and successful young entrepreneurs. Joel is the Chief Executive Officer of Fave, Southeast Asia’s leading Digital Merchant Platform with presence in Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia.
Joel was one of the initial founders of the Groupon businesses in Asia and headed up Asia Pacific region for 4 years. He played an instrumental role in establishing the high-growth
business model that propelled Groupon into a multi-billion dollar business, with thousands of employees spanning across 12 countries.
Joel has co-founded several successful companies including social news platform SAYS.com, and invested in a string of technology venture capital funds and startups across Asia. In 2013, SAYS.com merged with Catcha Media and the company was rebranded as REV Asia. REV Asia was recently acquired by Media Prima for over RM120mil.
Joel has received the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award and was named Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum. Malaysian Tatler also awarded Joel Entrepreneur Par Excellence in 2018. He completed his studies in Monash University and Harvard Business School.
