Mytheresa picks Steven Xu as president in China and APAC

He previously served as an executive for Ralph Lauren.

Germany-based luxury e-commerce platform Mytheresa has appointed Steven Xu as the company’s president for China and the Asia Pacific region, the platform said in a news release.

The new appointee will be responsible for all Mytheresa consumer-facing activities in China and Asia Pacific, the company said.

Xu earlier served as the vice president of digital marketing and e-commerce at American fashion company Ralph Lauren in Asia Pacific, where he managed its online business in the region, particularly in China.

He was also the head of digital activation at tobacco company British American Tobacco (BAT) as well as Philip Morris. He has also worked for eBay and Edipresse, the company said.
