Cole Haan, HiMaxx partner to expand in China

The partnership includes the creation of a new HiMaxx premium division dedicated to Cole Haan.

American lifestyle brand Cole Haan has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with Chinese retailer HiMaxx.

The partnership includes the creation of a new HiMaxx premium division dedicated to Cole Haan, led by Co-Founder Jason Hou.

“This premium position requires an equally exceptional retail development and operating expert with proven success throughout Mainland China and Hong Kong,” said Jack Boys, CEO of Cole Haan.

HiMaxx will take over more than 30 Cole Haan stores in Hong Kong and Mainland China, with plans for further expansion.

"China is an exciting and dynamic market that is vital to the growth of the Cole Haan brand. HiMaxx provides the right infrastructure and brand stewardship needed to achieve our long-term plans for the region,” added Adrian Santos, Senior Vice President, International at Cole Haan.
