Central Marketing Group now exclusive distributor of JUNG SAEM MOOL in Thailand

It is expected to drive a 20% increase in CMG's beauty product sales this year.

Central Marketing Group (CMG), a subsidiary of Central Retail Corporation, has secured exclusive distribution rights for JUNG SAEM MOOL, a renowned Korean cosmetics brand, in Thailand.

With eyes on Thailand's growing K-Beauty trend, CMG anticipates a 20% increase in beauty product sales this year.

"Currently, the cosmetics market in Thailand continues to grow steadily, with total value exceeding 300b Baht,” said Edwin Yap Hawson, president of CMG, noting the makeup segment constituting 12%.

He added the increasing allure of Korean cosmetics, fueled by the country's fascination with K-Pop and K-Drama, as a key factor driving CMG's decision to incorporate JUNG SAEM MOOL into its beauty portfolio.

JUNG SAEM MOOL, founded by Korean makeup artist Ms. Jung Saem Mool in 2015, boasts a stellar reputation for innovation and professional-grade makeup techniques. With over 250 points of sale in South Korea, the brand's skincare, base makeup, color makeup, and accessories cater to diverse consumer needs.

CMG plans to implement omnichannel marketing initiatives tailored to Thai consumers, complemented by enhanced in-store experiences and a modernised brand presence. This will include bolstering the brand's visibility across Central Department Stores, leading shopping centers, online marketplaces, and other channels, facilitating broader access to JUNG SAEM MOOL products for Thai consumers.

“With the addition of the JUNG SAEM MOOL brand, we are confident that we can accelerate our beauty category sales growth even faster,” said Hawson.

“Our key strategies focus on expanding sales channels, enhancing marketing activities, and increasing product lines to further accelerate brand growth in Thailand," he noted.
