Foodpanda’s pandamart records whopping 250% surge in fresh produce orders

Grocery goods orders grew by 160%.

Food delivery app foodpanda recorded a whopping 250% surge in fresh produce orders in the past six months ending March 2021 as more consumers in Asia turn to home deliveries for groceries and other necessities.

Foodpanda’s pandamart also saw a surge of 160% in total grocery goods orders.

With a surge in grocery orders, foodpanda said it will invest in additional physical infrastructure to expand pandamart to new markets this year including Japan.

The company plans to double the number of pandamarts across Asia in the next year.
