Burpple merchants to join ComfortDelGro's delivery platform

They will also have delivery links on their pages.

Merchants in Singapore-based food app Burpple will be able to onboard into transport firm ComfrotDelGro’s ComfortDelivery platform, according to a press release.

Burpple is partnering with ComfortDelGro Taxi, aiming to bring down delivery costs through its delivery platform to 550 Burpple Beyond merchants. The food app noted that fees charged by the city’s food delivery players range from 25-35% an order.

With this, Burpple has been reaching out to its merchants to onboard them onto the platform. It will also be including delivery links on each merchant’s page to allow consumers to order directly through the app.

Burpple Beyond is a subscription-based rewards programme that offers one-for-one deals at a curated list of restaurants. Of the 550 merchants, more than 200 have now pivoted to offer the same deals for takeaway.
