California-based Oakley launches flagship store on J Shop

The sports brand touts over 750 patents.

California-based Oakley has launched a flagship store on JD.com, featuring the American brand’s array of sports equipment, such as sunglasses, goggles, shirts, sweaters, bags, and more, the e-commerce giant said in a press release.

Oakley’s flagship store is available on the J Shop, JD.com’s upgrade of its Fashion and Lifestyle business, the company said.

Founded in 1975 by Jim Jannard, Oakley has evolved from an eyewear manufacturing brand into a professional sports brand, touting over 750 patents featuring various product lines including sunglasses, clothes, shoes, watches, accessories, etc.

Yu Zhang, head of outdoor shoes and clothes department at the J Shop, expressed plans to deepen cooperation with Oakley and diversify product offerings.
