The logistics firm will be opening a regional headquarters in Saudi Arabia.
Logistics firm J&T Express will be opening a regional headquarters in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in line with its plans to build the largest smart logistics industrial park in the next ten years.
Under the memorandum of understanding, J&T Express and other signatories plan to turn Saudi Arabia as a global hub and strategic operation center for the entire regional market.
The headquarters, which will be set up in the Riyadh, will be catering to the Middle East and North Africa region. J&T Express noted the new logistics park is intended to meet the growing logistics demand in the region.
The logistics park will also provide advanced tech-driven services with the goal of making Saudi Arabia as a gateway in Asia, Europe, and Africa.
This initiative is also greatly supported by the MENA venture capital eWTP Arabia Capital and other partners, J&T added.
"Together with J&T Express, we are confident to support more tech-driven innovative companies, supply chains and brands in China, who are looking to win over the global market,” eWTP Arabia Capital's Managing Partner Jerry Li said.
The agreement was signed by the Saudi Arabian government, through the General Authority of Civil Aviation, J&T Express and eWTP Arabia Capital.
This followed the launching of J&T Express’s business in Saudi Arabia as well as the United Arab Emirates.
