SM Group partners with AirAsia to offer new shopping, travel perks

This allows members to convert points between the two programs.

SM Group’s loyalty program, SMAC, has announced a strategic partnership with AirAsia rewards to offer new benefits for members.

The collaboration allows members to convert points between the two programs, combining shopping and travel rewards in one system.

Under SMAC’s “My SMAC, My MOVE” campaign, members can now convert 500 AirAsia points into 125 SMAC points through the AirAsia MOVE app. These SMAC points can be used at SM retail stores such as SM Store, SM Supermarket, SM Hypermarket, Savemore, SM Appliance Center, and other brands like ACE Hardware, Our Home, Surplus, and Watsons.

In addition, SMAC members can exchange 200 SMAC points for 300 AirAsia points through the SMAC website (smac.ph), offering travelers more ways to maximize their rewards.

The partnership is expected to boost customer engagement and foot traffic in SM retail outlets while expanding AirAsia rewards' reach among the Philippines’ growing community of shoppers and travelers.
