Mr. Zhang has over 25 years of professional experiences across corporate and consulting. He is the lead partner for Consumer products and retail sector for Deloitte APAC firm, and a senior partner at Deloitte Consulting China Strategy and Operations Practice. He speaks frequently on the topic of future of retail, China consumer trends and digital transformation in major national and
international e-commerce and Retail conferences. He is also regularly sought for opinions by mainstream business medias such as CNBC, BBC Business and SMG Media Group on China consumer issues.
Since joining Deloitte, he has pioneered the Deloitte “Future of Retail” and “Now Consumer” series studies and collaborated closely with China’s major internet platform players like Ali, Tencent, JD and MeituanDianPing, leading the consumer and retail innovation in the China market place.
During 2015-2018, Mr. Zhang personally led the Nike China operations backbone program, assisted the client to successfully transform its operational backbone from primarily serving wholesale businesses to serving an omni-channel and integrated market place. He keeps advising the client on the on-going digital innovation matters. Prior to that Mr. Zhang has advised numerous MNC and local leading consumer clients on digital and supply chain strategy.
