Abercrombie refreshes Harbour City store with new APAC design concept
The brand is also introducing new fits and colours across its American denim range.
Abercrombie & Fitch has refreshed its Harbour City store in Hong Kong, introducing its “Heritage Meets Modern” retail design concept to the Asia-Pacific market for the first time.
Unveiled on 25 September, the concept debuted at the brand’s new SoHo store in New York City.
It combines archival-inspired elements with updated interiors and product displays.
The Harbour City store uses warm wood tones, natural marble, black-and-white floor tiles, custom millwork, and soft lighting across its apparel zones.
Heritage-inspired furnishings reference Abercrombie & Fitch’s links to sporting, travel, and discovery.
A dedicated area within the fitting room section overlooks Victoria Harbour, giving shoppers a space to pause between trying on products.
The refreshed store carries men’s and women’s apparel alongside lifestyle products, including the brand’s denim range.
Its open layout is designed to allow shoppers to mix and match pieces across collections.
The autumn and holiday range includes plaids, patterned prints, and layered outerwear under the Heritage style.
The Modern range focuses on clean silhouettes and richer fabrics, whilst the Cosy Fit range features oversized cuts and relaxed proportions.
Abercrombie & Fitch is also introducing new fits and colours across its American denim range.
At the opening, Laurinda Ho shared autumn layering styling tips with customers.
The store opening also included a “Heritage & Modern” brand night held with Hong Kong bar COA during the Mid-Autumn Festival.
The partnership will continue through “Heritage & Modern Month” from 25 September to 11 October, featuring a limited-time cocktail menu combining classic influences with modern flavours.
