Urban Revivo opens Beijing flagship in Sanlitun
Design reflects Beijing's architecture.
Fashion retailer Urban Revivo has opened a flagship store in Beijing's Sanlitun district, featuring a design that blends its global brand identity with architectural elements inspired by the Chinese capital.
Founded in 2006, Urban Revivo operates more than 380 stores worldwide. The flagship is located on Sanlitun West Street, the main pedestrian route connecting the South and North villages of Taikoo Li Sanlitun.
Designed by MVRDV, the store features a façade of suspended aluminium tiles and tubes inspired by traditional Beijing roof tiles. Finished in Urban Revivo's signature blue with a dichroic coating, the façade shifts from blue to purple depending on the viewing angle.
The store also incorporates modern interpretations of traditional arches, contemporary materials and dedicated "Bold Rooms" as part of its retail design.
