Misto Holdings Q2 profit rises on Acushnet, cost gains

Acushnet posted revenue of $870.8m, up 21.7% YoY.

Misto Holdings' second-quarter operating profit jumped 62.3% year-on-year to $208.9m (KRW 295.2b), driven by strong performance at Acushnet and improved profitability in its Misto segment.

Acushnet benefited from strong new product sales, higher equipment sales and average selling prices, while a one-time tariff refund provided an additional boost to earnings.

The Misto segment reported revenue of $141.8m (KRW200.4b), down 7.4% year-on-year, mainly due to the restructuring of its US operations. Excluding the US business, revenue grew 4.0%.

Operating profit increased 6.6% to $25.8m (KRW 36.4b), supported by improved profitability in Korea, growth in Greater China and company-wide cost efficiency measures.

Acushnet posted revenue of $870.8m (KRW 1,230.8b), up 21.7% year-on-year, while operating profit rose 75.2% to US$183.1 million (KRW 258.8b). Strong sales across Titleist's golf balls, clubs and gear categories, along with new driver and fairway wood launches, supported the results.

The timing of key product launches ahead of the peak golf season also helped Acushnet's performance. The one-time tariff refund further contributed to the increase in operating profit.

Within the Misto segment, FILA delivered growth across footwear and apparel. GLIO maintained strong sales momentum following its Spring/Summer launch, whilst MY T-SHIRT emerged as a key apparel product, with search volume rising about fivefold year-on-year and sales increasing 20%.

FILA also expanded its retail footprint in Southeast Asia, opening stores in key commercial districts in Malaysia and launching the region's first FILA 1911 Store.

In Greater China, Misto Holdings continued to expand its brand portfolio, including the full-scale rollout of JUUN.J, a global designer brand from Samsung C&T Fashion Division. Stores opened at Chengdu Taikoo Li in July and Beijing Sanlitun in August, with additional brand launches planned for Spring/Summer 2027.

Misto Holdings also continued its shareholder return programme, completing the $7.1m (KRW 10b) share repurchase approved in May and approving an additional $3.5m (KRW 5b) buyback.

Ho Yeon (Aaron) Lee, CFO of Misto Holdings, said the company would focus in the second half on strengthening FILA's product competitiveness in Korea, expanding its brand portfolio in Greater China and improving operational efficiency.
