Lazada’s RedMart Now expands to Singapore’s East as orders grow sixfold
Fresh produce, dairy, and chilled items make up a larger share of orders.
RedMart by Lazada has expanded its RedMart Now grocery delivery service across Singapore after orders grew sixfold since its launch in February 2026.
RedMart Now delivers groceries in as fast as 30 minutes. It initially served selected areas in the South and Central regions before expanding to the North and North-east in August. Coverage now includes the East.
The service is available daily from 7am to 10pm, with a fixed S$3.99 delivery fee for orders of S$30 and above, including during peak hours.
RedMart said customers are using RedMart Now for grocery top-ups between larger scheduled shops. Orders have a higher share of fresh produce, dairy and chilled items, which have shorter shelf lives.
Customers also place orders from 7am, when the service opens, RedMart said.
“The sixfold growth in orders shows that customers value having different options for different grocery needs,” said Martin Daney, head of RedMart. “Whether it is a planned grocery shop or something they need at short notice, we want RedMart to be the go-to platform for both everyday groceries and life's unexpected needs.”
RedMart has quadrupled its delivery fleet since launching RedMart Now and increased same-day delivery capacity by 200% this year.
The service complements RedMart’s same-day, two-hour and six-hour scheduled delivery options, which allow customers to order up to seven days in advance.
RedMart opened a fulfilment centre in August to support the North and North-east expansion and another on 1 October to support the East.
“With RedMart Now, we are stepping up our investment in quick commerce, “ said Venkat Shankar, chief logistics officer for RedMart and Lazada Singapore. “This has required us to expand our fulfilment footprint and delivery capacity whilst continuing to invest in the technology and logistics capabilities behind the service.”
RedMart currently offers more than 120,000 products, including fresh produce, dairy, chilled products, meat and seafood, beverages, snacks and household necessities. It also offers global products through Shop by Country selections, specialty stores and private-label products.
